Last week, IN/LAB, hosted young leaders from Löpakademin and Run For Office for shared exchange on news today and in the future.
At IN/LAB, we think it's important to frequently meet with (possible) future news consumers. We typically do it through facilitated co-creation programs, but every now and then we do less structured gatherings too. Last week's visit by Löparakademin and Run for Office in Stockholm was one such event.
The visit kicked off with a tour around the office, where the participants got to experience the energy of our media houses. Lina Dawood (Aftonbladet) shared insights from her personal and professional journey as a YouTuber turned journalist and social media editor, and Ahmed Abdigadir (Svenska Dagbladet) gave our guests an insider’s tour of the newsroom, introducing his colleagues and what they do.
The visit ended with a facilitated innovation brainstorm, where the young leaders shared ideas on news experiences that would make content more accessible and intriguing for diverse audience groups.
Thank you to all the aspiring leaders who visited, and to our colleagues who shared insights about their work!
